InterVarsity is a student lead movement, and our leadership consists of a team of staff and student leaders. Staff workers are here to help guide, develop, and support all of you. Together we seek to lead our community towards the vision of reaching every corner of the campus with the love of Jesus Christ.
There are three primary leadership positions that help guide our chapter:
In addition to our Student Leadership team that helps guide the spiritual formation of the chapter, we have servant teams that care for the community through hosting larger structures, events, and more.
If you joining the Leadership team is not the right next step for you, but you are still interested in being more involved, consider joining one of the following teams:
Thanks so much for your interest in serving the Lord this upcoming year as an InterVarsity Leader or Apprentice. Leadership & Apprenticeship are both year-long commitments and is a unique opportunity for you to be developed as you learn what it means to be a leader in the Kingdom of God. Leaders have influence, and influence begins in the ways we surrender our lives to God & choose to serve Him on His terms.
InterVarsity at Chapman's core vision is to develop a multiethnic community of leaders who reach every corner of the campus with the love of Jesus Christ. Being a part of the leaders team is one way you can participate in what God is doing to transform lives, renew the campus, and see the world changed for the better.
We’re excited to embark on this process with you, as you discern your plans to serve Him, perhaps as a leader or apprentice next year. If you have any questions or need someone to chat with about this, feel free to contact the staff or Area Leaders.
We believe that ultimately joining the Leadership Team with InterVarsity is for your development, your healing, and the growth of your relationship with God. It is our expectation and hope that you will leave your time as a leader with a greater intimacy between you and Jesus, as well as skills and vision to lead out in His Kingdom.
